SXSPerformance’s driver Matt Lasher heads into the last round of the AVE series with the Class Points Lead!
SXSPerformance’s own Matt Lasher has successfully raced his way into the last round of the AVE series with the points lead in the Production 850 class! With 3 wins and 4 podium finishes this year, Lasher’s Kawasaki Teryx has outlasted the rest of the field to finish in the top of his class at almost every race.
The Production 850 class has been stacked full of talented drivers and well-prepped vehicles. With the AVE-sanctioned races including a variety of terrain and a plethora of different track layouts, drivers and co-drivers need to endure racing conditions that rival those found in Baja. Matt has continued to battle his way through these conditions, and he is extremely excited to be vying for several points championships in his first year of racing.
In addition to the Production 850 class, Matt and his Teryx are still in the hunt for an overall UTV championship. They are currently sitting in third overall, and with a little bit of luck on their side this weekend, Lasher and his SXSPerformance team have a chance at two championship trophies!
